Project Controls Analyst
Overview:
Position Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Project Controls Analyst will be responsible for financial reporting and analysis for the IEA Civil Companies. Reporting will include WIP and financial reporting for all civil operating company executives as well as various MasTec financial deliverables due both monthly and quarterly.

MasTec’s Clean Energy and Infrastructure Group (CE&I) is a $2 billion annual revenue business unit that provides construction services for industrial facilities; building products manufacturers, power generation facilities, manufacturing plants; solar, wind, and thermal energy plants; buildings, and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with project controls and accounting to execute WIP reporting monthly.
- Coordinate with project controls to report project % complete runoff and reforecast monthly.
- Create monthly project revenue and margin backlog reporting for IEA Civil group.
- Create monthly executive reporting for project review and analysis.
- Create budget vs actual reporting on projects monthly.
- Update ERP with monthly and annual budget modifications
- Facilitate executive monthly project review meeting for IEA Civil group.
- Coordinate with the finance department to create monthly project budget reforecast.
- Create risk and opportunity reporting for IEA Civil group.
- Create various work order reports monthly.
- Utilize Power BI and other reporting platforms to monthly produce financial dashboards for Midwest/West region.
- Complete monthly MasTec project deliverables for IEA Civil group (POCAL)
- Create annual prequalification reporting for DOT renewals
- Complete various financial and project related analysis and reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a business-related area
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- 3-5 Years of EPC/construction related experience preferred
- Experience with Vista Viewpoint preferred but not required
- Minimal travel (10-20%)
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
