A national engineering firm is seeking a structural engineer to join their team in Chadds Ford, PA. Typical projects include the design of existing heavy industrial and waterfront structures. Duties include: Plan, schedule, conduct, and/or coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work; Prepare reports and correspondence concerning the direction of assigned projects; Ability to perform structural inspections, assessments, and preparation of reports; Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.

Job Requirements: Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years' engineering experience; Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis on structural engineering. Master's Degree will be preferred; Experience with computer applications and design software such as STAAD, and Microsoft Office; Proficient reading construction plans and technical writing ;Working knowledge of AISC, ACI, AWS, IBC, AASHTO, AREMA, and ASCE 7 Codes and Standards.
