Interim Director of Surgical Services
AZAD is seeking an Interim Director of Surgical Services for a W2 Contract position based in Los Angeles, California.
Schedule: Day shift, Monday through FridayAssignment Duration: 6+ Months
Compensation & Benefits: Between $750 - $775 daily rate, plus daily stipends (7 days/week) including $183 Lodging, $74 Meals, and $50 Auto/Transportation. Weekly Compensation (including stipends) between $5,899 - $6,024. Benefits include Paid Sick Time, Paid Holiday, Co-paid Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, Cafeteria Plan, and 401k.
Position Summary:Provides overall supervision of nursing for patient care units. Maintains direct accountability for the financial, operational and mission performance for specific services/departments assigned. Works in full collaboration and cooperation with all areas to coordinate services that will support the strategic goals and mission of the hospital.
Maintains responsibility for coordinating services of departments including staffing, operational policies and procedures, systems and programs, standards and compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements. Establishes and achieves appropriate patient care standards and coordinates the services with the appropriate clinical management team.
Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned personnel using both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.
Qualifications: 7+ years of Nurse leadership experience in Supervisor, Manager or Director level positions required.
Bachelor degree in Nursing required. Master of Science in Nursing or related field preferred (MBA, MHA).Current California RN License required.
BLS Certification required.
