As an EyePoint Intern, you will:

  • Dive into real projects that directly impact our business goals.

  • Present your contributions to leadership at the end of your internship.

Responsibilities:

The Summer Intern will be responsible for assisting with formulation and process development of ophthalmic drug products.

Key areas of responsibility
  • Execute developmental activities for ocular formulations and process development.
  • Interpret data and provide recommendations.
  • Maintain a detailed and organized laboratory notebook and share findings in technical presentations.
  • Develop expertise and knowledge around ocular formulations.
  • Ensure compliance to safety and regulations as well as experimental laboratory best practices.

Qualifications:

Primary skills and knowledge required include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Currently enrolled in a university, pursuing an undergrad/grad degree
  • Laboratory research experience (particularly formulations) is a plus (academic or industry).
  • Excellent team player with strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Bright, energetic, hard-working, and creative

Level of Education Required:

  • Must be a student in a Bachelor’s degree program at an accredited college/university
  • Undergraduate student with a minimum of Rising Junior/Senior> status.

Preferred Field(s) of Study:

Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related discipline
