We are in search of a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. As a bookkeeper, you will be tasked with managing a variety of financial transactions, including accounts receivable, collections, and invoicing
Responsibilities:
- Accurately process and record customer credit applications
- Keep customer credit records up-to-date and organized
- Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary
- Manage accounts receivable and collections processes
- Handle invoicing tasks and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately
- Record daily transactions
- Manage cash deposits, checks, and vouchers
- Oversee and record all daily receipts and enter invoices into the system.
- Must possess strong skills in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Experience in handling Collections is essential
- Ability to record and manage Daily Transactions efficiently
- Experience in handling Cash Deposits and Daily Receipts
- Proficient in entering Invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Must have a strong understanding of Financial Transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Knowledge of wholesale distribution industry is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
