We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Cost Accountant in the a Manufacturing firm, based in Long Beach, California. This role involves collaborating with various teams to understand inventory levels and their impacts on financial performance.
You will also serve as the liaison with Operations to continually drive process improvement and accuracy of reports.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate cross-functionally to understand and manage inventory levels
- Analyze the impacts of inventory levels on financial performance
- Serve as the liaison with Operations to drive process improvement
- Troubleshoot with IT on Oracle system related issues that impact inventory, costing, and month-end close
- Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Solutions to effectively perform accounting functions
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and manage budget processes
- Perform Cost Accounting and Cost Analysis
- Use ADP - Financial Services for efficient financial management
- Manage CapEx effectively
- Ensure accuracy of reports related to inventory and costing.
