Overview: Highly skilled Technical Project Manager to be part of a Data Center Migration project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Release and Change Management, with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and applications.This role requires working on weekends and weeknights to ensure seamless execution of migration activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage weekend data center migration activities, including creating and maintaining run books.
- Coordinate communication and collaboration among various teams to ensure smooth execution of migration tasks.
- Orchestrate the migration process, ensuring all activities are performed as planned.
- Support the execution of migration activities without directly performing technical tasks.
- Escalate issues promptly to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain detailed documentation of migration activities and changes.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or Program Manager
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, and related technologies.
- Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
- Hands-on experience with Release Management and Change Management.
- Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) practices, including Incident and Problem Management.
- Excellent execution management skills, with the ability to oversee and ensure process adherence.
