Responsibilities- Manage and oversee full-cycle accounting functions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring all reporting is accurate and timely.
- Reconcile and maintain inventory records and collaborate with operations to ensure accuracy, particularly in a manufacturing or construction environment.
- Support the development and execution of budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Assist with cost analysis and support operational leaders in project costing and job costing activities.
- Handle compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and prepare audit schedules as required.
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff to foster growth within the team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in full-cycle accounting, preferably in manufacturing or construction industries.
- Strong understanding of job costing, inventory accounting, and project-based financials.
- Proficiency in accounting software systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or comparable ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Excellent knowledge of GAAP and best accounting practices.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
