Dialysis RN

Shift Details: 10a- 10:30 pm

Relocation assistance offered on case by case basis

Position Summary:

Dialysis Nurses are responsible for overseeing dialysis treatments required by patients suffering from acute or chronic kidney failure. They check and record patients' vitals, ensure that dialysis machines are set up correctly, and teach patients how to operate home dialysis machines.

• Remote telemetry
• Use of Care Zones for patient/nursing assignments
• Rental/dialysis patient cohorting (working towards this)
• Daily Discharge Huddle
• Active UPC and R&R Committees

• Very engaged & supportive Medical Director

Qualifications:

• BLS certification required and ACLS may be required in designated departments.
• At least 24 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years in acute care hospital setting.
• Must have a minimum 1 year as an RN w/ BSN or 2 plus years as an RN w/Associates. Must have experience in desired specialty.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia.
