Staff Accountant

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in the Textile Manufacturing industry located in Calhoun, Georgia. In this role, you will be tasked with managing financial information and providing insights for business decision making. Your main duties will include data development, financial reporting, budget analysis, pricing evaluations, and process management.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the development of financial and statistical data to support rapid analysis, decision making, and problem resolution.
• Generate financial reports and bridge schedules to effectively communicate financial results.
• Serve as a valuable resource for internal customers by facilitating business changes based on profitability, retail channel trends, pricing issues, and other analyses.
• Oversee the annual product line and departmental budgets, forecasts, and plan analysis.
• Drive continuous development and improvement in providing customers with appropriate financial data that contributes to the accomplishment of company objectives.
• Manage the period-end closing process.
• Evaluate cost/profit relationship at product, customer, and channel levels.
• Analyze and submit for approval promotional-pricing requests for all national, regional, or distributor-specific sales.
• Handle all pricing data required for distributor bulletins.
• Coordinate the implementation of pricing activities within our distributor network.
• Proficiency in General Ledger management is essential.
• Ability to prepare and manage Journal Entries is required.
• Experience in Month End Close operations is critical.
• Familiarity and hands-on experience with SAP is necessary.
• Expertise in handling Month-end Journal Entries is needed.
• Experience in Month-end Financial tasks is a must.
• Proficient in conducting Monthly Account Reconciliation.
• Demonstrated ability in managing Monthly Close operations.
• Proven experience in handling Monthly Close Processes is key.
