Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and services on issues concerning the rights, obligations, risks, and privileges of the organization's real estate activities
- Research and analyze complex legal issues relating to real estate law
- Review, revise and negotiate a variety of real estate agreements
- Provide legal support for real estate financing, acquisitions, dispositions, and leases
- Maintain knowledge of the organization's business and related real estate legal matters
- Coordinate and manage outside legal counsel on real estate matters as needed
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Active attorney license with a ability to practice law in the respective state
- At least 5 - 8 years of real estate attorney experience within a law firm
- Mastery of core real estate attorney skills and proficiency in real property law, contract negotiation, and drafting
- Effective communicator, both orally and in writing
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment
