Bookkeeper

This position is within the accounting industry.

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations including management of accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure accuracy of financial data and compliance with the company's accounting policies and procedures.
• Handle foreign currency bill payments.
• Engage with local and international vendors as part of daily operations.
• Generate financial reports using QuickBooks to provide insights into the company's financial health.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Showcase proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft 365 suite, especially Excel and SharePoint.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and ensure accurate reporting.
• Review, document, and assist in the implementation of accounting policies and process improvements.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to address financial inquiries.
• Manage payroll processes and liaise with benefit providers to keep information up-to-date.
• Provide administrative support as required. • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to conduct Bank Reconciliations
• Solid understanding of Bookkeeping principles
• Proficiency in Data Entry tasks
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in Month End Close operations
• Knowledge of Payroll processing
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks software
