Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in the Real Estate & Property sector. Based in New York, this role offers a unique contract-to-permanent employment opportunity. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be tasked with maintaining comprehensive tenant records, calculating and posting tenant CAM/TAX reconciliations, as well as managing customer inquiries and applications.

• Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.
• Comprehensive maintenance of customer credit records.
• Addressing tenant inquiries and aiding in collections of arrears.
• Generating and posting charges in MRI and Yardi, as well as tracking all payments made.
• Review and interpretation of commercial leases, abstracts, LOIs and emails for key lease terms.
• Calculation and posting of tenant CAM/TAX reconciliations.
• Application of late charges and other fees to accounts where applicable.
• Timely composition and sending of written correspondence, invoices, commencement letters, termination letters, etc.
• Assisting with commercial budgeting and forecasting.
• Keeping tenant contact and emergency contact lists up to date.
• Regular auditing of commercial accounts as needed. • Proficient in Commercial Leasing, with a strong understanding of the legal and financial aspects.
• Experienced in using MRI software for managing and analyzing real estate data.
• Proficient in Yardi software, particularly for property management and accounting tasks.
• Skilled in CAM Reconciliation, with a strong ability to analyze and rectify discrepancies.
• Demonstrated experience in Budgeting, with a focus on cost management and financial planning.
• Strong Forecasting skills, with a proven ability to predict future financial trends accurately.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Real Estate Leases, including understanding terms, managing agreements, and ensuring compliance.
