Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist

Job Description:Position Summary: This position controls inventory of finished goods needed to fulfill forecasted sales and scheduled distribution plans.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitors and updates schedule to reflect inventory turnover, stocking decisions, forecasting and administrative controls.
- Analyzes inventory levels, production speed, product demand, and shipment schedules to help guide on reordering levels for product availability.
- Supports with inventory system.
- Works with the Material Handlers in supporting the operations on-time efforts.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to complete heavy work assignments while remaining detailed oriented.
- Must be a team player with a strong work ethic and can work in a face paced environment.
- Must have a flexible schedule to be able to work overtime as required.
- Must be able to communicate, in English effectively both in written and verbal form.
- Knowledgeable with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Agile, or any other ERP system) a plus.
- Ability to lift at 40lbs and have ability to constantly be standing for at least 6-8 hours during the day.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required: High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum Experience required: 3-5 years of previous materials experience or applicable experience required.
- Due to contracts with the United States Government, the candidate must be either a US Citizen or Green card holder
Compensation
Salary Minimum: $50,000Salary Maximum: $60,000
