Assistant Controller

A rapidly growing Venture Capital firm is currently seeking an Assistant Controller to join its talented team. This is a great opportunity to join a well-integrated group, with plenty of exposure to upper-management operations.
Responsibilities of this role will include:
- Preparing financial statements and forecasting reports
- Managing financial database system to ensure accurate data entry
- Supervising daily accounting operational functions
- Assisting with cash flow forecasting and budgeting
- Overseeing quarterly and year-end closings
- Working with external counsel to implement compliance procedures
- Assisting with tax compliance and tax filing preparation
- Handling ad hoc duties as needed
