Additionally, you will be responsible for scheduling appointments, handling payments, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a hospitable reception to patients upon their arrival and throughout their visit
• Handle the distribution, collection, and review of necessary patient paperwork
• Schedule appointments for pre-operation and other procedures
• Oversee payment processing, including managing care credit cards
• Ensure all patient charts are up-to-date and properly organized
• Respond to specific queries through phone calls or emails
• Manage scheduling changes as per patient's request
• Maintain a detail-oriented and friendly demeanor in all interactions, ensuring a positive patient experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a Receptionist role or similar
• Proficient in responding to inbound calls promptly and in a detail-oriented manner; this is not a high call volume environment but is one where we do take pride in top notch customer service for those who do call in
• Capable of creating and interpreting medical data charts and graphs
• Experienced in managing patient check-ins and check-outs during appointments
• Proven ability to schedule appointments accurately and efficiently
• Familiar with general receptionist tasks, such as managing office supplies and handling correspondence
• Exceptional customer service skills, capable of effectively and courteously handling patient inquiries and complaints
