Modeling and Simulation Engineer, Journeyman

Position Summary:

Odyssey is currently seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer to join our team at Eglin AFB, Florida.

Responsibilities:

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Knowledge and experience in supporting and conducting simulation studies to include but not be limited to system and component performance, engineering trade-offs, system effectiveness, and logistics.
  • Knowledge and experience must include reviewing modeling work for compliance with regulations and best practices
  • Developing and maintaining modeling best practices; analyzing complex problems
  • Developing relevant models and constraints to run complex dynamic structural, thermal or other analyses; and
  • Reviewing and supporting work to develop appropriate models to solve complex weapon system issues.

Electrical/Electronic Design

Provide resources with knowledge and experience in design, development and testing of electro-technology (any electrical and electronic) systems. Knowledge and experience shall include product design, analysis, and testing in all areas of electro-technology applications such as analog and digital circuits and systems analysis; signal processing techniques and implementations; Electromagnetic Interference/Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMI/EMC) analysis; power supply evaluation; radiofrequency component analysis; microcircuits (e.g., Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), microprocessors, memory circuits) evaluation; radiation hardened electronic circuits analysis and evaluation; multispectral analysis of Command, Control, Computers, Communications, and Intelligence (C4I) system architectures; and flight control systems analysis and evaluation.

Qualifications:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Secret

Education and Years of Experience:

  • Undergraduate engineering degree from an ABET-accredited college.
  • Bachelor's degree with five (5) years of professional experience; OR a Master's degree with three (3) years of professional experience
