ABDS, Inc. is currently seeking for a MemSQL Developer. Position:
Design and develop new systems to enhance database performance with good throughput and low latency.
Understanding of Database Sharding as it relates to distributed database partitioning.
Ensure data consistency and durability with breakthrough performance and scalability.
Dive into the internals of our query optimizer to improve the query performance and optimize resource utilization.
Reproduce query performance problems across various on-premises lower environments, if required.
Debug the resource issues which are impacting database performance at the Linux OS level.
Set up database migrations, DR replication for High Availability architecture.
Work closely with business users and ETL team to submit support tickets or feature requests to SingleStore support.
Collaborate with business, ETL, technical project managers and other teams to keep all teams up to date with current issues a team may be facing.
Work to streamline and improve our various Database processes, document procedures and processes in using Confluence, and help the team continually improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide updates to Admin team during daily agile scrum meetings.
Experience on pipeline management involving configuration and usage for real-time data consumption using SingleStore.
Mentor and train other team members on database administrative techniques.
Debug Cluster events and conduct follow up postmortem and RCA analysis.
Actively participate in technical POCs to optimize database experience and adoption.
Managed or Un-managed Database Cloud Experience a plus.
Experience with on-premises Backup Solutions and Cloud Object Storage for Database Backups Skill Sets MemSQL
- MemSQL Developer Location: St. Louis, MO(Initial Remote).
- premises and cloud hosted SingleStore clusters, work on complex technical issues and resolving critical outages.
Intermediate to advance understanding of SingleStore (MemSQL) Cluster Architecture.
Work with ETL and Business teams to improve complex SQL query behavior to diagnose bugs or improve performance.Design and develop new systems to enhance database performance with good throughput and low latency.

- At least 3 years
