Senior Treasury Analyst

A third-party partner is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst for a company in Schaumburg, IL. This role focuses on providing financial analysis and decision support within the Treasury Department, optimizing cash forecasting, debt management, and risk management processes.

The position requires collaboration with multiple business functions to enhance financial planning and compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Cash Forecasting & Analysis
  • Manage and enhance the 13-week cash forecasting model and process.
  • Oversee daily cash forecasts to optimize borrowing levels and minimize interest expenses.
  • Integrate cash forecasts into an annual cash flow forecast.
  • Work with Procure to Pay (P2P) and Order to Cash (O2C) functions to optimize working capital.
  • Debt Management
  • Ensure compliance with debt agreements and reporting obligations.
  • Assist in preparing and forecasting interest expenses.
  • Manage credit agreement compliance and ABL borrowing base certificates.
  • Recommend ABL borrowing decisions to balance capital sources and cash needs.
  • Oversee participation in customer-facing supply chain financing programs.
  • Risk Management
  • Identify currency exposures and recommend hedge strategies.
  • Optimize subsidiary cash levels for cross-border transactions.
  • Monitor market trends in interest rates and currency.
  • Maintain currency hedging programs as needed.
  • Reporting & Optimization
  • Support Treasury initiatives related to corporate credit cards, cash, and liquidity management.
  • Identify operational efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Assist in preparing month-end reports and ad-hoc financial analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in treasury or finance.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to collaborate with international teams.
  • Self-starter with problem-solving skills and the ability to drive continuous improvement.
