We are offering an exciting opportunity for a contract to hire Bookkeeper with a thriving organization located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. This is a part-time role involving various responsibilities related to financial record keeping, including processing payroll, accounts payable, invoicing, and clerical work.

As a Bookkeeper, you will support the organization's operations by maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, invoicing, inventory, and ordering supplies
  • Handle the full cycle of accounting duties or supervise others in the process of completing these tasks
  • Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing
  • Utilize QuickBooks for the generation of meaningful financial reports and provide financial analysis and insights to the management
  • Manage the clerical staff, office space, and organization to meet the company's needs
  • Maintain office supply inventory by checking stock levels, placing and expediting orders for supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies
  • Coordinate bank deposits and report financial results on a regular basis to the management
  • Monitor office expenses and tally and enter cash receipts
  • Pay vendor invoices and track bank account balances
  • Proficient in Accounts Payable
  • Demonstrated experience with QuickBooks
  • Excellent customer service experience
  • Ability to prepare Financial Statements
  • Capable of maintaining office supplies inventory
  • Proficient in performing clerical duties such as filing, typing, copying, and scanning.
