About Our Client
A Mid-Size, National, AM 150 firm, known for their innovative approach and commitment to client success, they have established a strong presence from east to west coast and are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager/ Senior Manager to work with their successful Finance, Private Equity, M&A, Venture Capital or Emerging Markets Practice Groups.
Job Description
As Business Development Manager/ Senior Manager, varied responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans
- Collaborate with marketing, digital and communications to promote Practice Groups
- Creating, updating and saving pitch content, materials, and client information ensuring records are up-to-date and easily accessible to all the firm
- Scheduling, sourcing, planning and executing business development events (conferences, speaking engagements, panels etc.)
- Act as the single point of contact for Partners for their marketing-related needs, cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with key Partners of the Practice Groups - understanding developments and ensuring these are promoted to new/ existing clients

The Successful Applicant
The successful Business Development Manager/ Senior Manager will have demonstrable experience:
- 5+ years in Business Development within a National, preferably AM Law 1-200 firm setting
- A strong understanding of the legal sector - experience working with one or more of the following Practice Groups: Finance, Private Equity, M&A, Venture Capital or Emerging Markets
- Strategic, business mind, collaborative, hands-on approach
- An ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships
- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- A competitive salary range of $140,000 - $200,000 base salary depending on experience, this scale is for estimated 5-10 years experience
