Role Overview:

The purpose of this role is to become an integral sales person on the US Credit Sales Team in Lloyds Securities Inc., covering US Institutional clients for both US and International Investment Grade Corporate and Financial bonds. Furthermore, you’ll be part of a Global Credit Sales team working closely with colleagues based in London and Frankfurt on client facing distribution of new bond issuance as well as secondary market trading activity.

You will work closely with Credit Trading to ensure an appropriate balance of client service ambitions and desk risk management. Role will report directly to the Head of US Credit Sales and have diverse exposure to various institutional clients of Lloyds Bank.

Responsibilities:

Key Tasks and Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Handle US institutional client relationships with a focus on Investment Grade Corporate and Financial bonds
  • Interact daily with clients to determine trading strategy/needs and how Lloyds can deliver value in their accomplishment of these goals
  • Liaise with New York and London Credit traders to ascertain axes, understand investment themes, and communicate these positions to US Institutional clients
  • Work across the world with the London Credit Trading team to deliver not only the US franchise but also the Lloyds global franchise to US customers
  • Experience with trade execution and protocols including use of Bloomberg TOMS trade entry system
  • Ideal candidate would have a minimum of 5 years of US institutional client relationship experience and familiarity with wider Credit Products universe. Additionally, the right person would have strong client relationships in this space.
  • Successful applicant would integrate fully into the team, reporting directly to the US Head of Credit Sales, and help to deliver Lloyds business model to clients throughout the US
  • Strong sense of institutional values consistent with Lloyds Bank mission statement and high level of integrity in dealing with clients.

Qualifications:

Education and experience required:

  • Contacts and relationships within the Institutional Sales industry
  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required
  • FINRA Series 7 & 63 Licenses
  • Bloomberg and MarketAxess Experience
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience in each of the following areas
  • Maintaining relationships with the top tier institutional investors
  • Good understanding of global banking regulations particularly the US and the UK
  • Good product knowledge of fixed-income credit products
  • Managing relationships with investors involved in Investment Grade Corporate and Financial bonds

Salary range: $170,000 - $200,000
