Accounting Manager

This position is within the industry and your main workspace will be located in San Francisco, California.

• Oversee and manage the entire accounting and tax functions.
• Guide and complete the consolidated financial statements and related reports during monthly, quarterly, and yearly close and consolidation processes.
• Ensure accuracy in cost accounting, inventory, and fixed asset processes, performing monthly reconciliations to the general ledger as needed.
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements and financial operational analysis for the management team.
• Manage company's international entities, including intercompany transactions, eliminations, and consolidation processes.
• Coordinate annual AICPA audit review processes and/or engage with examiners from external auditors, acting as the resident expert for accounting matters.
• Prepare schedules requested by external tax advisors for corporate tax returns at the federal, state, and municipal levels, as well as, the audit tax provision.
• Provide leadership and hands-on management of the accounting team, including evaluating, developing, coaching, and mentoring team members.
• Drive process improvements to enhance current financial reporting processes and content, including automation and optimization of processes, identify accounting issues and propose solutions working with cross-functional partners.
• Lead special projects such as ASC 606 & ASC 842 conversion, system improvements, and ad hoc analyses/projects as needed. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as an Accounting Manager
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with BlackLine software
• Proficient in using Concur software
• Experience in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions
• Experience handling Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Solid understanding of Auditing practices
• Experience with Billing Functions
