Staff Accountant

We are offering an opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The role involves working within our team to manage various aspects of financial operations. This includes processing and reconciling accounts, managing inventory and assets, and preparing various financial reports.
Responsibilities include:- Managing and reconciling bank statements for the organization's single account
- Preparing and maintaining journal entries
- Managing inventory records and ensuring they are up to date
- Assisting in the preparation of organizational budgets
- Generating regular financial reports for review and analysis
- Overseeing the management of organizational assets
- Assisting in the preparation of quarterly and annual reports
- Utilizing QuickBooks Desktop for various accounting tasks
- Collaborating with other team members for efficient operation of payables and receivables
- Providing support in other accounting-related tasks as required.
- Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, and NetSuite
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
- Experience with bank reconciliations and journal entries
- Familiarity with month end close processes
- Experience with General Ledger management
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
