Identify security solutions and implement a multi-layered defense to protect the networks. Develop standards, policies, and guidelines on using computer-based application systems while minimizing the negative impact of security on employee efficiency.
Establish security guidelines for implementing new application designs and major modifications before implementation. Install, customize, and maintain security efforts with internal and external auditors. Create customized user reports. Design and implement encryption technology, penetration and vulnerability analysis of various security technologies, and information technology security research.
Define information security policies and practices. Define security architecture direction for application developers to ensure their developed applications comply with security policies. Understand company technology direction and continually evolve security policies and practices applicable to technology changes.
Conduct regular security compliance audit checks.
Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and 5 years of Progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or a related occupation.
