Systems Architect

L.J Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Systems Architect. This position will largely keep the lights on of the present NYEIS application, manage any architecture updates for this legacy system, and support system decommission and transition of functions to a third party vendor.-Responsible for the strategy, integration and design of the applications and platforms-Creates, validates and/or implements hardware and software design and changes to provide a platform for the NYEIS application-Provides direction to the development team in execution of the construction, enhancement, and operation of the application-Monitor System performance and perform corrective measures including administrative procedures-Work closely with Project Manager and ITS Manager on active/pending projects, Prepare Documentation, Address Level 3 Help Desk tickets as needed-Attend and participate in meetings, prepare a weekly report, complete NYS LATS timecard daily
