Senior, Accountant - Financial Reporting

Overview:

Checks and verifies financial statements are prepared in accordance with GAAP. Uses automated systems to input data, generate reports, conduct specialized research projects and respond to inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the monthly financial close including preparation of monthly balance sheet and income statement
• Assists with general ledger accounting for potentially all areas of the balance sheet and income statement.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc reports.
• Prepare the consolidated cash flow statement on a quarterly basis.
• Responsible for audit requests such as balance sheet reconciliations and other other analysis.
• Research and analyze accounting issues as they develop.
• Provides advice and assistance to the Accounting Manager and Accounting Director in analyzing and interpreting financial data and reports.
• Assist in improving the accounting and financial reporting process by helping evaluate processes and implementing changes.
• Provide support to external audit process.
• Assist with ad hoc projects and requests from the FP&A team, tax team, and other internal and external parties.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with minimum 4 years’ experience.

Other Requirements:

• CPA Strongly Preferred
• Requires understanding of global accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with NetSuite, Floqast, and Workiva is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage problems and competing priorities.
• Ability to generate new ideas and think independently, strong research and analysis skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently.
• Timely and accurate general ledger account and reconciliation.
• Ability to work well both independently and to work collaboratively with others, including teammates in other countries.
