Job Summary:The Registered Respiratory Therapist provides comprehensive respiratory care under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Services. Responsibilities include:
- Administering respiratory therapy and supportive equipment per departmental protocols.
- Assisting with intubation and managing ventilators.
- Evaluating patient needs and providing education to patients and caregivers.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Experience: Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs and demonstrate accountability.
- Certifications:
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS
- PALS
- Valid NJ Respiratory Care license and Registered Respiratory Therapist certification required.
- NJ State RN license or multi-state compact license preferred.
