Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Two (2) years of recent experience in quantity cooking, a basic knowledge of modified diets; training in food service sanitation and possession of food service food handler’s permit is required; experience utilizing industrial kitchen equipment and utensils; and some prior kitchen supervisory experience helpful.
Training: Successful completion of Crisis Management and Service Excellence training must occur within 90 days of employment and prior to assisting in any restraining procedures.This position has regular interaction with our in psychiatric inpatient population and requires respectful, calm, and professional communication with our patients that follows therapeutic care boundaries.
