Tax Manager

Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for a strong interim Tax Manager to support our Certified Public Accountant (CPA) firm client for the next 2+ weeks (part time) specifically to support the preparation of our clientele's complex K1's during the upcoming tax season.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Handle the preparation and review of complex K1 tax returns for various entities.
• Provide tax planning and compliance to clients in the areas of income and estate tax, specifically with regards to their unique K1 returns.
• Monitor tax law changes, communicate the effects of these changes to management and the engagement team, and make recommendations as required.
• Research complex technical tax issues and deliver findings to both our team and the clients.
• Facilitate open communication with clients to manage expectations and ensure client satisfaction.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required. Advanced degree in Taxation is highly preferred.
• CPA certification is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in public accounting focusing on K1's and partnership taxation.
• Extensive knowledge of tax laws and regulations related to K1 tax forms.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Must have strong attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments
