IT SOX Consultant

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced IT SOX internal auditor for our large vehicle retailer client on a project basis. This role is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls testing
• Review IT general controls, support assessment of technical areas including testing the design and operating effectiveness of controls
• Perform process walkthroughs of key information technology cycles and general IT controls
• Prepare work papers summarizing data obtained and conclusions reached
• Assist with testing remediation efforts, as needed
• Work directly with management to capture processes and control design activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields
• Certiied Internal Auditor (CIA) certification preferred
• Strong prior internal audit management experience required
• 5+ years of relevant internal audit experience
• Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
