Title: Periodontal Dental Hygienist

Qualifications:

Associate degree from an accredited Dental Hygiene Program
Valid NYS Dental Hygienist license and registration
Two years of experience with periodontal treatments preferred
CPR/Basic Life Support certification required
Ability to administer local anesthesia if certified

Duties:

Perform deep cleanings, root planing, and periodontal maintenance
Take and process x-rays to assess gum health
Educate patients on periodontal disease prevention and management
Maintain accurate records and assist in treatment planning
Provide patient comfort through nitrous oxide sedation if certified
Follow all infection control and sterilization protocols

Pay: $50/hr to $55/hr
