Welder Fabricator
Welder Fabricators must be able to read and interpret blueprints and engineering plans
Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude
Ability to read blueprints and recognize welding symbols and specifications
Knowledge of industry safety practices
Knowledge of specific welding processes, such as TIG, MIG and ARC
Ability to use and knowledge of specific use of shop equipment including, shear, press, ironworker, drill press, various metal cutting saws etc
Ability to use heavy machinery, such as forklifts and cranes
Minimum of 3 years experience in Shop Fabrication and Install
Valid Drivers License
Pass Required Drug Testing
Pass Criminal Background Test
Current Welding Certifications
Fabrication: 2 years (Required)
Welding: 4 years (Required)

Responsibilities
Read and understand drawings and blueprintsOperate shop equipment, forklifts, various types of welders and fabrication equipment
Fabricate stairs, handrails, guardrails and other miscellaneous metal objects as required
The Welder Fabricator will use the blueprints along with other data, such as work plans and fabrication drawings, to develop and design their welding or fabrication projects
Review work plans and drawings to identify potential conflicts
Fabricate Metal Objects
Fabrication involves laying out, cutting, and fitting, measuring and welding metals to create the desired shape or object
Inspect Work and Equipment
Inspect and test welds and equipment
Check welds for durability as well as meeting specified standards
Inspect and examine to determine if repairs or new equipment is needed
Weld Stainless Steel and Aluminum handrails, guardrails, tube, pipe and structural members

County Welding, LLC is looking for a certified welder fabricator who can weld and fabricate various types of metal including steel, stainless steel and aluminum. Read and understand drawings and blueprints. Must be able to work alone, with other welders and trades to fabricate and or install at jobsites.Operate shop equipment, forklifts, various types of welders and fabrication equipment. Fabricate stairs, handrails, guardrails and other miscellaneous metal objects as required.
