Forklift Mechanic - Monday to Friday Morning shift- 40 hours a week - (LONDON, ON)
We are seeking multiple Field Maintenance Technicians that display excellent mechanical skills, comfortable reading blueprints, possess ahunger to learn and want to keep developing their skills.
The desired industries we look for is automotive, aerospace and industrial mechanics. The maintenance technician is responsible for providing leadership in troubleshooting and diagnosing unexpected machinery issues to ensure production efficiency and uptime is maximized.
You will be required to drive to various client locations to conduct diagnoses and repairs. DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: -
Correctly diagnose all electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic problems and expedite its repair.-Carry out preventative maintenance as outlined by the maintenance schedule and make changes as deemed needed.-
Align, fit and assemble component parts, using hand tools, power tools, fixtures and templates.-
Analyze and record test results and prepare written testing documentation.-
Inspect parts for defects.-
Manage inventory of spares and documentation of such parts.-
Install electrical and electronic parts and hardware in housings or assemblies using soldering equipment and hand tools.-
Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams and technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly.-
Repair, rework and calibrate hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical assemblies and systems to meet operational specifications and tolerances.
