Pharmacy Technician-East Liberty - Part Time
Overview:
Exciting growth at Maxor National Pharmacy Services has created a new opportunity for a part time Pharmacy Technician. In this role, the Pharmacy Technician will provide compassionate customer service at East Liberty Family Health Care Center Pharmacy, a clinic-based retail pharmacy located in Pittsburgh.In this integrated model, the pharmacy team will work closely with providers and clinic staff collaboratively, providing team-based medicine with a strong pharmacy component to provide optimal care for patients. Monday, Tuesday, and Friday are preferred days but somewhat flexible.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take prescription orders
- Convey empathy and understanding when handling customer service issues.
- Operate the cash register by ringing up sales for customers
- Assist in keeping the pharmacy clean and the shelves stocked
- Answer the phone
- Input customer information into the computer system
Qualifications:
- Current PTCB Certification, or ability to obtain your certification within 6 months (MAXOR WILL ASSIST)
- Bilingual Spanish speaking a huge PLUS
- A minimum of 2 years retail pharmacy experience
- Proven track record of exemplary customer service
- Computer experience mandatory
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care
- Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently
