Pay Rate:$70+ per hour on Contract (Full- Time Salary Negotiable- DOE & Eligible for bonuses)
Duration: Temp to PermLocation: Remote w/ possible chance to go to the office in White Plains, NY
Hours: Standard Business hours
Job Description- Transactional tax counsel experienced with structuring M& A transactions and advising on structures and tax considerations from the term sheet stage for a variety of different types of commercial law deals.
- Ability to assist with general corporate/contract drafting matters and due diligence also a plus as it will provide additional opportunities for a candidate to work hours if/when billable tax hours in each week are limited.
- 10+ Years of experience as a transactional Tax Attorney.
- Must have an active bar licensure in the State of New York.
- Must be able to commute to the office in White Plains if needed.

Possession of a professional law degree (J.D.) from an accredited law school- Admission to the state bar where the job is located
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience practicing law
- Proficiency with 3M, Adobe Acrobat, and Conveyancer software
- Solid experience in case and document management
- Ability to brief cases succinctly and accurately
- Experience in civil litigation and claim administration
- Expertise in handling customer complaints and knowledge of consumer electronics
- Specialization in tax law, mergers and acquisitions, and contract law
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- High ethical standards and professional integrity
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in legal research, reasoning, and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to keep up-to-date with changes in law and the legal profession
- Ability to handle a large caseload and work under pressure.
