job summary: Seeking a Principal Software Engineer for a high growth defense contractor in the Indianapolis, IN area.
The Principal Software Engineer would be responsible for development, integration, test, and documentation of software for our Weapon System Integration (WSI) products. They would be responsible for developing software, tailoring reusable software, and integrating software components on virtual machines and target hardware.

responsibilities:
- Development, integration, test, and documentation of software for our Weapon System Integration (WSI) products.
- Developing software, tailoring reusable software, and integrating software components on virtual machines and target hardware.
- As part of the Integrated Product Team (IPT), the Principal Software Engineer will be a key technical leader throughout the full software lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, implementation and unit testing, and software integration and test.
- The Principal Software Engineer shares knowledge with other engineers and contributes to maturing and improving our processes and products.
- Experience with MIL-STD-1553 and Universal Armament Interface (UAI) is highly desired.
