Staff Accountant

This role will also involve the future prospect of job costing.

• Conduct reconciliations of bank statements to maintain the company's financial integrity.
• Execute general accounting tasks for accurate financial tracking and reporting.
• Manage month-end close processes to ensure timely completion.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify and explain financial performance discrepancies.
• Monitor and interpret utilization trends for strategic decision-making.
• Participate in budgeting processes to assist in financial planning.
• Prepare for future job costing responsibilities to ensure accurate allocation of costs.
• Leverage skills in General Ledger management for effective financial control.
• Record and manage Journal Entries accurately for proper financial documentation.
• Ensure efficient Month End Close operations for accurate financial reporting. • Holding a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience in Bank Reconciliations
• Proficient in General Ledger management
• Familiarity with Journal Entries preparation and review
• Experience in Month End Close procedures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Knowledge of accounting software and databases
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
