Staff Accountant

We are offering an exciting opportunity in the St. Petersburg, Florida area for a Staff Accountant!

Responsibilities:

• Processing incoming invoices, including the determination of approval status and ensuring accurate entry into the relevant system.
• Collaborating in the implementation of AP modules and providing critical feedback as needed.
• Managing B2B collections, including the updating of past due accounts and making necessary follow-up calls and emails.
• Reviewing customer accounts and updating accounts accordingly for received payments.
• Assisting with ad hoc tasks and report generation.
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel tools such as Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP to manage and analyze data.
• Applicant must possess at least 2 years of experience in accounting.
• Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required
• Candidate must be proficient in using Pivot Table and VLOOKUP functions
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are necessary
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
