We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Receptionist to join our team located in Austin, Texas. The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for our business, handling the flow of people through the business and ensuring that all responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Greeting and assisting customers, visitors, and vendors as they arrive at the office.
  • Managing the check-in process for visitors and granting badge access as required.
  • Handling incoming calls, including checking voicemail and responding to inquiries.
  • Inputting customer service tickets into our system to ensure all issues are tracked and resolved.
  • Receiving and distributing deliveries from couriers like UPS/FedEx.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks such as stuffing envelopes with checks to be sent out.
  • Maintaining and managing office supplies inventory to ensure smooth operations.
  • Utilizing multi-line phone systems to manage communication within the office.
  • Assisting visitors by providing accurate information and directions.
  • Performing data entry tasks to update and maintain customer records. • Proficiency in answering and managing a multi-line phone system
  • Ability to assist visitors by providing information and directing them to the appropriate locations or staff
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and efficiency
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with staff and visitors
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in the use of office equipment such as fax machines, printers, and copiers
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor under stress
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or similar role preferred
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems as required.
