HR Generalist

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an HR Generalist in CEDAR FALLS, Iowa. In this role, you'll be integral to our human resources department, managing various HR plans and procedures for all personnel. You will collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth processes and will administer welfare plans to protect the interests of employees.

Responsibilities:

• Administer HR plans and procedures for all company personnel.
• Assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
• Perform benefits administration, including claims resolution and change reporting.
• Conduct recruitment efforts for all personnel, conduct new-employee orientations, and oversee exit interviewing process.
• Maintain and expand knowledge of existing and proposed federal and state laws/regulations affecting human resources management.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth processes.
• Handle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing.
• Protect the interests of employees through administration of various welfare plans, such as medical, dental, life, and disability insurances.
• Develop, recommend and implement personnel policies and procedures; prepare and maintain handbook on policies and procedures.
• Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars.
• Proficiency in ATS
• Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Experience with Ceridian and Dayforce
• Knowledge of various Benefit Functions
• Exceptional Communication skills
• Ability to ensure Compliance with HR regulations and standards
• Experience in Employee Relations management
• Familiarity with FMLA regulations
• Understanding of Compensation & Benefits structures
• Demonstrated ability in HR Compliance
• Experience in conducting Interviews
• Skills in Personnel File Maintenance
• Ability to develop and implement Policies & Procedures
• Proven experience in Recruiting and Recruitment - Sourcing
• Proficiency in using Social Media for recruitment purposes
• Experience in handling employee Terminations.
