Northwest Community Family Medicine Residency - FM Faculty/Sports Medicine Physician

Summary of Position:

Our program prides itself on a long-standing commitment to community medicine and sports medicine education. As part of our team, you will contribute to advancing medical training and patient care in a supportive and innovative environment.

• Conduct 8 clinical sessions per week providing comprehensive family medicine care to a diverse patient population.
• Provide both traditional family medicine care and sports medicine, with a focus on joint injections, point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) and splinting, to a diverse patient population.
• Supervise inpatient rounding 7-8 weeks annually.
• Dedicated didactic opportunities for teaching
• Precept medical students and residents in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Engage in supervising and mentoring medical students and residents.
• Participate in clinic-based and academic research opportunities.

• M.D. or D.O. with successful completion of an accredited residency training program in Family Medicine
• Board Certified in Family Medicine with a Sports Medicine Fellowship preferred.
• At least 1+ years of experience in family medicine with a strong interest in sports.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
