Engineering Manager- Elk Grove Village

About Our Client

• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities in engineering and manufacturing departments
• Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the department
• Propose budgets for programs and projects, purchases and upgrades of equipment
• Review and recommend contracts and cost estimates
• Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work
• Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures
• Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients
• Administer and manage the department's resources, including the team and equipment

The Successful Applicant

A successful Engineering Manager should have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in a similar role within the business services industry
• Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of industry's legal rules and guidelines
• Sound understanding of data analysis and performance metrics
• Ability to think strategically and solve problems
• Proficiency in MS Office and various business software
