• Take ownership of complex data consolidation processes that contribute to ensuring customers are billed timely and accurately.
• Manage the monthly billing process for expert calls by creating invoices that detail services provided and applying adjustments, as necessary.
• Review contract terms, create sales orders, and bill customers for new subscription sales and renewals.
• Resolve billing discrepancies by answering inquiries and creating credit memos as necessary.
• Work closely with stakeholders across multiple departments to continuously improve upon and develop scalable internal processes related to customer billing.
• Participate in month-end close activities required to support timely completion of tasks, booking journal entries, and reporting analytics.
• Provide support for external audits and customer inquiries.
• Assist with other ad-hoc projects on the accounting team as needed.

• Previous accounting experience related to billing and accounts receivable. Experience with SaaS products preferred.
• Working knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including advanced formulas and pivot tables.
• Ability to think critically about tasks that are presented to you.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with ERP systems, NetSuite is a plus.
