Corporate Accounting Manager

Job Type: Full-Time, Hybrid

Job Summary:

This role will oversee a team of three accounting professionals, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records while optimizing accounting processes. The Corporate Accounting Manager will report to the Controller and work in a hybrid work environment(link removed)>

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• General Ledger Management: Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, ensuring accurate account reconciliations and journal entries.
• Month-End & Year-End Close: Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Internal Controls & Compliance: Develop and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Team Leadership & Development: Supervise and mentor a team of three accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors and assist in the preparation of audit documentation.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and systems for greater efficiency and accuracy.
• ERP & Accounting Systems: Manage accounting software, including NetSuite, JD Edwards, or MS Dynamics, and ensure accurate system integrations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of corporate accounting experience, preferably with some public accounting experience.
• Certifications / Credentials: CPA or MBA required.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in NetSuite, JD Edwards, or MS Dynamics accounting software preferred.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting best practices.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop accounting professionals.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
