**Job Description Summary:**
SUMMARY and PURPOSE OF POSITION This position provides general nursing care topatients and families along the health illness continuum in diverse health
care settings while collaborating with the health care team. The position is
accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of
Nursing.
SCOPE OF POSITION This position reports directly to the Nurse Manager orClinical Nurse Manager of the Flex department and has no direct supervisory
responsibilities. The position delegates nursing tasks to licensed practical
nurses and unlicensed assistive personnel using the criteria written in the
Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
Internal Traveler Program RNs will support multiple inpatient units atHospital and FSED care sites and must be willing to be placed at Riverside, Doctors, Dublin, Grant, Grady, Westerville, Pickerington, Grove City, Berger, Mansfield, Marion, Grady, Shelby or Hardin. Internal Traveler Program RN will
be assigned to a unit or care site for a specified period of time, as statedin the duration of the contract.
This position requires at least one year of Acute Care experience and a strongclinical RN who is confident and comfortable asking questions and seeking
clarifications when necessary. Internal Traveler RN must be independent, and
able to adapt to unit specific needs. This position offers the unique
opportunity to experience various care sites andor units throughout
OhioHealth. Additional $25.00 per hour float pay and Mileage Reimbursement
Night shift available in Medical Surgical and Intermediate levels of care.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
Bachelors Degree: Nursing (Required)BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart

Current registered nurse license from the State of Ohio. Knowledge inassessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care. BLS
