As an RN with us, you'll play a pivotal role in providing Pre-Op and PACU nursing care to our young patients in our ambulatory surgical center. Schedule: The employee will work three days a week between Monday-Friday with the hours of 6:30am-3:00pm or 7:30am-4:00pm

Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and accurately document nursing care for the pre-operative
- Coordinate all aspects of nursing care with pre-operative team to achieve defined patient outcomes
- Works closely with the surgeons and the anesthesia care providers to guide the child safely through the postoperative period
- Provide nursing care patients in post op, continuously monitoring and assessing patients during their stay
- Assisting patients recovering from anesthesia
- Assessing the patient's health status and previous medical history
- Provide appropriate education to the patient’s family regarding their individualized plan of care for at home recovery
Qualifications:
- Graduate of accredited School of Nursing
- At least one year of experience as an RN preferred
- Previous experience working in a pediatric or ambulatory surgery setting a plus
- Ability to obtain Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of start date
- Current Pennsylvania RN License
