Large Loss Project Manager / Estimator

Our Client, a privately owned and growing restoration company based in Los Angeles County is looking to add an experienced, senior-level, Large Loss Reconstruction Project Manager/Estimator. This position has a starting salary of $90,000 to 125,000 plus commissions depending on experience!

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
The Project Manager / Estimator is responsible for estimating the reconstruction project with Xactimate, signing up the job, and the day-to-day management of all assigned reconstruction projects, including but not limited to, customer service and communication, vendor selection and buyout, materials procurement, scheduling, budgeting, financial reporting, proactive safety compliance, and quality control.The Project Manager is also responsible for working closely with project stakeholders throughout the process to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage site personnel and subcontractors. Drive safety, quality, and productivity in the field.
- Adhere to all OSHA and environmental regulations.
- Ensure all work is properly contracted/subcontracted.
- Perform all contracted scopes per identified procedures.
- Ensure project work meets the highest standards of workmanship based on industry standards.
- Approve or reject invoices as appropriate, with proper communication with your project team.
- Properly project, record, and maintain all project costs on budget worksheets.
- Track change orders and all extras on projects via signed change order forms and budget updates.
- All other duties or projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of full-time construction project management experience within the disaster restoration industry
- Experience estimating reconstruction projects with Xactimate
- Large Loss experience
- Skilled in construction project management, financials, processes, and administration
- OSHA 10 or 30, CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
- Commercial and residential experience
