Accountant - Entry Level

You will also be in charge of monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary action.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately apply and record incoming funds, understanding the account number structure and accounts receivable module.
• Process credit card payments, cash and check deposits, and prepare and perform bank deposits.
• Prepare internal invoicing for all payables items requiring billing to other internal departments or other locations and prepare supporting documentation.
• Handle receipting for banking transactions, prepare batches, and input receipt information into the accounting system.
• Take the lead in resolution of reconciling transactions that need further research and correction, liaising with other accounting and finance personnel.
• Assign account codes to payables invoices daily, and ensure the supporting documentation matches the invoices.
• Process and reconcile assigned exchange account and other balance sheet accounts that require research and reconciliation.
• Record in accounting system; generate, prepare and print reports necessary for backup in preparing payables batches.
• Prepare and process ACH and check payables batches.
• Carry out a variety of administrative work associated with special projects, research and compile information for various reports, spreadsheets, and special projects, and inform appropriate personnel of discoveries.
• Must have knowledge in Account Coding
• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems is required
• Ability to use Adobe Acrobat is necessary
• Familiarity with Dynamics NAV is a must
• Experience in ERP Solutions is needed
• Should possess skills in Account Analysis
• Must be capable of managing Accounting Entries
• Proficiency in handling various Accounting Functions is required
• Skill in Account Reconciliation is essential
• Must have experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
