Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest. We have 13 offices located throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage landscape architecture projects, ensuring design excellence and client satisfaction.
  • Oversee all project phases, including concept development, design documentation, construction drawings, technical details, and administration.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and consultants to deliver holistic solutions tailored to project needs.
  • Develop and present compelling design strategies and graphics for clients, stakeholders, and public presentations.
  • Promote sustainability and integrate innovative approaches to address community and environmental challenges.
  • Maintain a visible professional presence by representing PARKHILL at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through client relationship management and marketing efforts.
  • Mentor junior team members, providing guidance on professional development and ensuring high-quality project outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
  • Registered as a Professional Landscape Architect (or ability to obtain registration).
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in landscape architecture, including team and project management.
  • Proven experience with large-scale and complex projects across a variety of sectors, such as urban districts, campuses, and public spaces.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative and innovative design work.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of sustainable design principles, construction methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Revit, Rhino, GIS, and 3D rendering tools (e.g., Lumion or Enscape).
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey design concepts verbally and graphically.
  • Experience in business development, proposal writing, and client presentations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • LEED or SITES accreditation.
  • Familiarity with Civil 3D and SketchUp.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership in landscape architecture through public speaking or publications.
